Job summary

Navan Group is seeking a Senior Director, Global Event Travel to lead Navan and Reed & Mackay’s global event-air operation, unifying online and offline travel delivery under one model.

The role requires 10+ years in distributed travel operations, strong commercial ownership, and deep familiarity with air booking tools and fulfillment systems. You will drive strategic change and global scalability.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience managing distributed travel operations teams across spans and layers.
• Commercial ownership experience: operating budget, gross margin, forecasting, pricing, capacity planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead a global organization of directors, managers, team leads, travel consultants, and coordinators.
• Dissolve silos and unify operations leveraging Navan technology and Reed & Mackay expertise.
• Own service quality, commercial performance, workforce planning, and transformation initiatives.
• Define and implement the target state operating model for Event Travel and document People, Processes, and Systems.
• Structure a global service delivery function with globally consistent tools and local decision making.
• Ensure the tech stack enables scale and act as a change agent for Navan platform needs.
• Present candid assessments to leadership while maintaining a constructive, forward-looking stance.
