Job summary

Navan is seeking a Senior Director, Global Event Travel to lead a global, multi-team operation spanning online and offline travel services. Based in Boston, MA, you will unify Navan's event travel capabilities with Reed & Mackay, set strategy, operating model, and performance across regions.

You will partner with Product and Engineering to build scalable tools, drive high-performance culture, and deliver exceptional client experiences in complex, high-value programs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience managing distributed travel operations teams across spans and layers.
• Commercial ownership experience: operating budget, margins, forecasting, pricing, capacity forecasting.
• Proven track record of partnerships that improved automation, service, and profitability.
• Data-driven and disciplined about operating performance.
• Thorough knowledge of the travel industry, fares, suppliers, and markets.

Responsibilities

• Lead a global organization of directors, managers, team leads, travel consultants, and coordinators.
• Dissolve silos and build a unified operating model leveraging Navan and Reed & Mackay expertise.
• Own service quality, commercial performance, workforce planning, and collaborations with Product & Engineering.
• Define and implement the target operating model for Event Travel and document the People, Processes, and Systems.
• Structure a global service delivery function with globally consistent tools while enabling local decision making.
