Job summary

Verkada in San Mateo, CA is seeking a Global Sourcing Specialist Intern to support direct hardware sourcing for product lines from concept to customer delivery. The role involves interfacing with internal and external stakeholders, negotiating contracts, costs (BOM, MVA, Capex, Opex) and managing suppliers to bring new hardware to market.

You will work on-site five days a week, across time zones, and contribute to a fast-paced development environment during NPI and MP phases for fast-moving

Qualifications

• Willing to travel up to 30% and work across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Support senior sourcing members with end-to-end hardware sourcing during NPI and MP phases.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, contracts, etc. for various aspects of operation including cost management and margin analysis.
• Find and manage suppliers including relationship management, audits, and onboarding.
• Collaborate with and influence cross functional teams to deliver new products.
