Job summary

Gridware is seeking a Sourcing Manager to identify and onboard hardware suppliers while ensuring material availability for production. This role requires strong negotiation skills and cross-functional collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams.

The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of experience in sourcing and supplier management within hardware or manufacturing environments. The position is based in San Francisco and offers competitive salaries up to $165,000 per year.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of experience in sourcing, direct procurement, supply chain, or supplier management.
• Strong negotiation experience, including pricing, contracts, and supplier agreements.
• Experience working with contract manufacturers and external supplier networks.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers for mechanical and electrical components.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing activities, including RFQs, cost analysis, and supplier selection.
• Manage supplier relationships, including performance monitoring and issue resolution.
