Job summary

Rockwell Automation in Mayfield Heights, OH, is seeking a Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams across engineering, product, and program management to bring roadmaps to life. You will coordinate across global facilities in an Agile environment and help ensure the plant is ready for release, with occasional domestic and international travel.

You will report to a manager in the Project Management Office and may work from Mayfield Heights, OH or Milwaukee, WI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; US work authorization; no visa sponsorship.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in project management.
• Experience with electronic hardware and embedded software.
• Knowledge of PMI/PMP, Lean Six Sigma, Business Administration, Management, Operations, Project Engineering, or Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience in product or application development and in a project leadership role.
• Proficiency with budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.
• Knowledge of tools such as Atlassian Jira, Jama, SAP, and scheduling software.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, SAFe, and product certifications like 61508/62443/UL/CE/TUV.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage project delivery plans, finances, and resource plans.
• Identify dependencies, anticipate obstacles and risks, and implement mitigation plans.
• Drive decisions, resolve complex project issues and risks, and manage change.
• Concisely communicate progress, decisions, issues, risks, and mitigation plans to team and senior leadership.
• Ensure project alignment across other initiatives to avoid duplication or misaligned opportunities.
• Provide input to product roadmaps and strategies to optimize delivery.
