Job summary

V2X is seeking a Ground Support Equipment Mechanic Inspector to inspect and diagnose a range of equipment, including commercial and some military assets. The role requires experience in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems and the use of G-Army and office software.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, be a U.S. citizen, and be able to obtain CAC and NACI Public Trust. A valid REAL ID license is required, with potential for travel and 40-hour weeks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have valid REAL ID driver's license with no restrictions.
• Must obtain and maintain NACI Tier 1 Public Trust and CAC.
• Proof of U.S. citizenship (birth certificate or passport) required.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection (Acceptance, In process, Final) and some random inspections.
• Inspect, test, operate wheeled and commercial equipment and diagnose faults.
• Dispoisition of hazardous materials per environmental standards; OSHA compliant tools.
• Use automated logistics information system (G-Army) and standard computer apps.
• Maintain safety, property accountability, and housekeeping at all times.
