Job summary

V2X is seeking an experienced Ground Support Equipment (GSE) mechanic in Meridian, MS to perform checks, servicing, and repairs on aircraft GSE. The role requires handling hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and cryogenic systems, following safety procedures, and using maintenance manuals and special tools.

Qualified candidates will have 4+ years of I-level experience, and the ability to obtain a DoD CAC and SE license.

Qualifications

• Completion of a U.S. Armed Forces Aviation Ground Support Equipment maintenance school or equivalent.
• Minimum of four (4) years of "+I+" Level experience as a Support Equipment hydraulic/mechanical/cryogenic/electrical mechanic.
• Valid state driver’s license; ability to obtain and maintain DoD CAC and SE license as required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul GSE electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and cryogenic systems using applicable manuals and directives.
• Maintain familiarity with Navy instructions, maintenance manuals, and applicable publications.
• Coordinate with Leadman, Supervisor, and Quality Control on serviceability and repair procedures.
• Document all completed work and maintain maintenance records per applicable instructions.
• Perform off-site service and training as required.
