The Ground Support Equipment Mechanic (GSE) works under the guidance of the Team Lead and Supervisor. The GSE Mechanic will perform schedule and unscheduled repairs, operate and inspect various types of commercial equipment ie..Graders, Loader, Skid steer, Tub Grinders, Bulldozers, Tractors and Military Contruction Equipment; Non-tactical vehicles ie..Fords, International, Peterbilt, controllers, heating units, generators and other transmission equipment in order to perform troubleshooting actions and diagnose defects; examine parts for damage or excessive wear; repair or replace parts as required; service, repair, rebuild, overhaul and maintain the aforementioned types of equipment, as well as major assemblies and components of that equipment including engines, transmissions, fuel injection systems, hydraulic systems, ignition systems and electrical systems.
