Job summary

Adyen is seeking a senior Product Compliance Manager, Scheme Compliance, to lead the Growth pillar within Schemes Compliance. You will manage a globally distributed team, design scalable compliant models, and partner with Product, Engineering, Commercial and Sales to drive growth while controlling risk.

The role focuses on new product launches, market expansion, and onboarding of payment methods, with a strong emphasis on regulatory guidance and partner requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong product mindset, translating regulatory/scheme requirements into system behavior, data structures, and configuration rules.
• Proven experience leading global, cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of payments ecosystems including card networks and acquiring models.
• Ability to design guardrails for new payment flows and business models.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and scale a globally distributed team focused on growth initiatives across products, geographies, and payment methods.
• Define growth strategy for Scheme Compliance, prioritizing new product launches, market expansion, and onboarding of payment methods.
• Partner with Commercial and Sales to identify merchant needs and translate demand into growth priorities and product decisions.
• Define payment flows, data models, and configuration standards that embed compliance into systems.
• Standardize operating models for new business lines with clear control points and regulator-facing documentation.
• Drive cross-functional programs to accelerate time-to-market for strategic initiatives.
• Act as escalation point for complex opportunities balancing speed, risk, and commercial impact.
