Job summary

American Airlines is seeking an Instructor, Ground Operations Training to facilitate ground operations programs and mentor learners across the training organization. You will develop content, deliver sessions, and support pilots for new training initiatives.

The role requires engaging communication, strong facilitation skills, and the ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed to ensure effective knowledge transfer and program success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent training/experience.
• 2 years of experience in an airport environment with ramp operations knowledge or relevant experience.
• Previous classroom facilitation and management experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate American Airlines ground operations training programs.
• Connect with, develop, engage and guide learners within your care.
• Communicate clearly and empathetically, creating a welcoming learning atmosphere.
• Provide effective and timely feedback; helping elevate the facilitation of courses and content quality.
• Collaborate with other team members across the training organization on various projects.
• Maintain accurate records of training activities and materials.
• Support and participate in pilot classes for new training initiatives.
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with airport and corporate leadership.
• Travel extensively domestically and internationally to facilitate courses and provide mentorship.
• Work days/evenings/weekends/holidays.
