Job summary

Vista Hermosa Foundation is seeking a Program Officer to manage a portfolio of international grants in East Africa and India. You will work with the Philanthropy and Social Justice Director to steward learning, impact, and partner relationships across the Trust.

Responsibilities include grants management, reporting, and engagement with grantees and field partners, plus travel internationally about 2–3 times per year and ensuring compliance with regulations and the Trust’s faith-guided

Qualifications

• 5 years of professional experience in international community development or philanthropy.
• Excellent interpersonal, relationship building and communication skills.
• Excellent project management and time management abilities.
• Experience working across cultures and international travel.
• Experience in grantmaking and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Grants Management: oversee portfolios, review proposals, manage grant lifecycle and reporting.
• Impact and Learning: track metrics, prepare dashboards and insights for learning.
• Grantees and Partners Engagement: maintain communications, plan site visits and host events.
• Administration and Reporting: ensure compliance, coordinate budgeting and end-of-year reporting.
