Job summary

Conrad N. Hilton Foundation seeks a Program Associate to support grantmaking initiatives focused on education, elder care, and community development. The PA will coordinate project tracking, budgets, reports, and communications, while assisting with meetings and site visits.

Reporting to the Senior Program Officer, the role requires strong writing, multitasking, collaboration across offices, and comfort traveling for 1-2 site visits per year.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience in the non-profit sector or private entity with a social mission.
• Skilled writer with the ability to produce communication products for diverse audiences.
• Comfortable with complex budgets and work plans; understands non-profit finances and budgets.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workflows to meet deadlines.
• Bilingual capacities.
• Independent and collaborative team player with initiative and flexibility.
• Curious and committed to learning and improving processes.
• Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor grant progress to ensure timely approvals and support in mapping progress reports.
• Track and manage grant budgets and coordinate grant processes with Grants Management.
• Lead in providing administrative support to applicants and own the grants payout process.
• Review, analyze, and prepare grantee progress reports and payments for approval.
• Support delivery of information and technical assistance to grantees and partners.
• Coordinate meeting logistics, convenings, and site visits; prepare materials and travel arrangements.
• Develop and submit grant proposals in line with approved strategies.
