Honeywell is seeking a General Counsel for Building Solutions (HBS) based in Atlanta, GA, with a hybrid work schedule. You will lead a global legal team supporting disputes, contracts, compliance, and growth initiatives, including government contracts and energy-related agreements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience practicing law, preferably with a mix of in-house and law firm experience.
• A Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
• Strong knowledge of litigation and commercial dispute resolution.
• Expertise in managing legal risks and compliance matters.
• Expertise in drafting and negotiating complex contracts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement legal strategies to protect HBS interests and mitigate risks, including regulations.
• Manage and resolve disputes (litigation and negotiations).
• Review and negotiate contracts and other legal documents.
• Provide guidance to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Support projects with business development, project managers, operations, and finance.
• Support growth initiatives and/or M&A tied to the HBS business.
• Evolve standard processes, templates and negotiation playbooks for efficient deal closure.
• Manage a team of attorneys supporting complex opportunities for HBS.
