Job summary

Honeywell Technologies is seeking a General Counsel for Government Contracts to lead legal strategy for federal procurements and compliance across the enterprise.

You will advise on FAR/DFARS, manage contract risk, and oversee regulatory programs while reporting to the VP & GC. This role blends legal expertise with strategic business leadership in a hybrid setup between Washington, DC and Charlotte, NC.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant legal experience advising on government contracts.
• J.D. or equivalent and admitted to practice law in a U.S. jurisdiction.
• Expertise in FAR, DFARS, DPAS, domestic preference requirements, representations and certifications, and related government contracting obligations.
• Strong contracting and drafting capability across prime contracts, subcontracts, teaming agreements, security addenda, audit rights, and flow-down clauses.
• Excellent judgment, prioritization, stakeholder management, and ability to synthesize complex issues for technical and non-technical audiences.
