Job summary

Honeywell Technologies is seeking a General Counsel for the Building Solutions (HBS) business, located in Atlanta, GA with hybrid work. The role leads cross-border legal efforts, supports global compliance, and advises on regulatory matters while managing a team of attorneys across regions.

You will report to the Vice President and General Counsel, HBS, and collaborate with stakeholders to optimize legal risk management, contracts, and corporate initiatives within a matrixed organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience practicing law (in-house and/or firm).
• JD required; strong litigation and commercial dispute resolution knowledge.
• Experience managing legal risk and compliance matters.
• Experience drafting and negotiating complex contracts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement legal strategies to protect Honeywell's interests and mitigate risks.
• Manage disputes including litigation and negotiations.
• Review and negotiate contracts and other legal documents.
• Provide guidance to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Support projects with business development, project managers, product development, operations, and finance.
• Support growth initiatives and M&A tied to the HBS business.
• Evolve standard processes, templates, and negotiation playbooks for efficient closings.
