Job summary

Overture Partners is seeking a Technical Coordinator to lead a distributed software development effort across onsite and offshore teams. You will own delivery, review solutions, and guide engineers while staying hands-on in full‑stack development.

You will coordinate multiple workstreams across time zones, architect with Java, Spring Boot, REST, microservices, and modern frontend tech. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience, including at least 2 years in technical leadership.
• Experience coordinating distributed onsite and offshore teams across multiple time zones.
• Hands-on development expertise with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices.
• Front-end development experience using Angular or React with JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
• Strong SQL, relational databases, Git, and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with cloud technologies; AWS preferred.
• Excellent communication with technical teams, business partners, and stakeholders.
• Ability to coordinate multiple development workstreams, establish accountability, resolve blockers, and keep delivery moving forward.

Responsibilities

• Lead software development activities across distributed onsite and offshore engineering teams.
• Coordinate multiple technical workstreams, dependencies, priorities, and delivery commitments across different time zones.
• Develop and enhance full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, REST services, microservices, and modern front-end technologies.
• Guide engineers on technical design, implementation approaches, coding standards, and software development best practices.
• Review application architecture and proposed solutions to identify technical risks, dependencies, scalability concerns, and opportunities for improvement.
• Estimate development effort and contribute to technical planning, prioritization, and delivery forecasting.
• Partner with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and delivery leaders to translate requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Monitor development progress, surface blockers early, and drive ownership and accountability across distributed contributors.
• Support source control, automated build, deployment, and CI/CD practices throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot complex application and integration issues while helping the broader engineering team identify sustainable solutions.
