Job summary

Maure, a New York-based luxury gifting brand, is seeking an Operations Coordinator to own the end-to-end product flow from purchase order to arrival. You will also manage the customer relationship after orders are placed, collaborating closely with the founder, e-commerce, and fulfillment teams.

This role covers manufacturing, purchasing, shipments, inventory, wholesale support, and custom orders, requiring strong organizational skills and a proactive mindset to keep processes running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Two to four years coordinating operations or logistics for a physical product business.
• Hands-on experience with shipments coming in from overseas and the customs paperwork involved.
• Confident in Shopify across orders, inventory and product setup.
• Experience handling customer emails with clear, warm, and timely responses.
• Highly organized and able to manage several moving pieces at once.

Responsibilities

• Issue purchase orders to manufacturers and keep them accurate.
• Coordinate communications with manufacturers through production timelines and approvals.
• Track production to completion and keep stakeholders informed about timing.
• Coordinate freight with the forwarder and ensure complete customs paperwork.
• Manage inventory, create new product codes, and set up data for inventory systems.
• Support wholesale accounts and orders from receipt to fulfillment, including special requirements.
• Oversee custom and corporate gifting orders end to end, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Own the customer inbox end to end and resolve issues quickly within a clear framework.
