Job summary

Pasona N A, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service/Operations Specialist (or Supervisor) to handle international freight forwarding, shipment coordination, hazmat documentation, and regulatory compliance. The supervisor role adds SOP development, process improvement, and team leadership.

The position is based in Phoenix with hybrid work, full-time permanent employment, and a salary of $60,000–$65,400 annually. English is required; Chinese is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2–3 years international freight forwarding experience (specialist).
• 3–5+ years incl. leadership (supervisor).
• Knowledge of AES, ISF, IMO and hazmat regulations.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• MS Office or Google Workspace proficiency.
• English required; Chinese a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage import/export and domestic freight operations.
• Track and update shipment status.
• Coordinate carriers, routes and logistics.
• Prepare hazmat documentation; ensure compliance (DOT, IATA, IMDG).
• Communicate with customers, vendors and internal teams.
• Negotiate costs with subcontractors.
• (Supervisor) Lead SOP creation, efficiency projects and team training.
