Job summary

TOTO USA is seeking a Freight Specialist to coordinate international import and export shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective movement of materials. The role liaises with suppliers, forwarders, and internal teams to track shipments, resolve issues, and maintain accurate records.

Required: minimum three years in logistics/production control, strong knowledge of freight docs, and proficiency with SAP, Excel, Word, and Tableau.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalency.
Minimum three (3) years of related experience in logistics or production control.
Knowledge of international freight documentation and import/export processes.

Responsibilities

Coordinate international import and export shipments (FCL, LCL, air freight) from origin to final receipt.
Collaborate with suppliers, freight forwarders, internal departments, and 3PLs to schedule and resolve issues.
Review freight options, quotes, and costs to support cost-effective transportation decisions.
Monitor freight costs and activity to improve efficiency and control costs.
Ensure completeness and accuracy of shipping documentation and records.
Coordinate invoicing and documentation with forwarders and internal teams.
