Job summary

DSV is seeking a Freight Forwarder for Air Export in the Dallas area to ensure timely export of goods by air and ocean, handling documentation and communication with customers and providers. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

You will manage carrier bookings, schedule shipments, and monitor progress while ensuring compliance with customs regulations and internal policies. This role emphasizes accuracy, collaboration, and customer focus in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field is preferred
• Experience in air and ocean exports is highly desirable

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the exportation of goods by ocean, including carrier booking and managing the movement of goods through various transportation channels
• Coordinate the exportation of goods by air, including scheduling with airlines and managing the movement of goods through various transportation channels
• Prepare and process required documentation for customs clearance, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading
• Track and monitor shipments, providing regular updates to customers on the status of their shipments
• Manage relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise
• Collaborate with other internal departments, such as logistics, finance, and operations, to ensure timely and efficient service delivery
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws, including customs regulations and trade laws
• All other duties as assigned
