Job summary

Thyssenkrup is seeking a logistics coordinator to efficiently manage international and domestic freight, coordinate pickups and deliveries, and dispatch drivers. The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, and meticulous record-keeping.

You will handle vendor pricing, maintain Mexican inventory records, and ensure accurate billing while staying compliant with DOT and US customs regulations. A related degree and Excel/Word proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and/or 4 years with related experience in international transportation, logistics or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with MS Excel and Word.
• Knowledge of DOT Regulations, US Customs Compliance, C-TPAT, FAST, PIP and/or ACE e-Manifest.

Responsibilities

• Record and allocate all requests for pickup and delivery within the established countries for all customer freight.
• Direct dispatch of drivers and vendor drivers.
• Maintain freight management records for domestic and international shipments.
• Negotiate pricing with current and potential vendors.
• Maintain Mexican Inventory with accurate records of all customer material being stored to ensure proper billing.
