Job summary

PSA BDP is seeking an Export Coordinator to support ocean and air export shipments from the Houston area. You will coordinate export trafficking, process documents for US Customs, and ensure timely billing and communication with customers.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in ocean/air export, strong MS Office skills, and a customer-service mindset. Fast-paced environment, team-focused, with growth opportunities at PSA BDP.

Qualifications

• Experience handling ocean or air export functions.
• Experience in a customer service environment preferred.
• Strong communication, detail orientation, and organizational skills.
• Teamwork attitude; leadership experience is a plus.
• PC literate with MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate export trafficking functions, data entry and document distribution for customer export shipments.
• Process documents per US Customs requirements; coordinate availability and delivery; finalize billing.
• Review daily shipment status reports and report non-conformances.
• Maintain data tables, assist in accounting issues, handle RFIs/RFQs and ensure clear communications.
• Prepare export declarations and Bills of Lading for Ocean Exports.
• Coordinate outbound international freight movements and establish rates with third-party carriers.
• Knowledge of Letters of Credit is a plus.
