Job summary

PSA BDP in Houston is seeking an export logistics professional to coordinate ocean and air export shipments, process documentation, and ensure compliance with U.S. customs requirements.

You will maintain accurate data, support billing and carrier coordination, and work closely with teams in a fast-paced office environment. The role requires good communication, teamwork, and proficiency with MS Office; a college degree is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience handling ocean or air export functions.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• College degree is preferred but not required.
• Fast-paced office environment experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Teamwork and leadership experience is valued.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate export documentation and data entry for customer shipments.
• Review shipment status and report non-conformances.
• Maintain tables, assist in accounting tasks, and handle RFIs/RFQs as needed.
• Prepare export declarations and Bills of Lading for ocean exports.
• Coordinate outbound movement of international freight shipments.
• Negotiate rates and services with third party carriers.
• Knowledge of Letters of Credit is a plus.
