Job summary

Flexport is seeking an Account Executive to build and maintain a healthy book of business in freight and end-to-end supply chain solutions. You will lead discovery calls, project-manage global supply chains, and collaborate with Flexport Operations teams to deliver superior customer service.

This role features a 50/50 base vs uncapped bonus compensation and requires 5+ years in freight/logistics sales, a proven sales process, and excellent communication to drive client success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain industries.
• At least 2 years in a full cycle sales role with quota carrying.
• Customer obsession: you succeed when clients succeed.
• Competitive, creative drive to win and close deals.
• Structured sales process and proven relationship building.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Build your book of business by closing net-new customers and cross-sell.
• Uncover and connect with ideal clients with self-prospecting and SDR collaboration.
• Consult with new clients to understand supply chain needs.
• Create value-add solutions showing Flexport capabilities via remote and in-person meetings.
• Lead Monthly and Quarterly Business Meetings with clients.
• Navigate and sell Flexport products across the lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Operations, Ocean, Air, Trucking, Customs to ensure best-in-class service.
• Lead the customer onboarding process using internal resources.
