Job summary

Baker Hughes in Houston seeks a Finance Manager - FP&A Operations to lead planning, forecasting, and performance management across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in finance or business.
• Minimum 5 years in FP&A or finance operations.
• Strong FP&A, forecasting, budgeting experience.
• Experience supporting business operations with financial analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to influence stakeholders across functions.
• Experience developing financial models and dashboards.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual operating plan, three-year strategic plan, budgeting, and forecasting processes across assigned business areas.
• Manage the full business planning cycle while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and financial targets.
• Develop and monitor KPIs across Manufacturing, Engineering, R&D, Supply Chain, and Commissioning functions.
• Analyzing financial and operational performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities, and recommending corrective actions.
• Driving initiatives to improve profitability, productivity, working capital, and cash generation.
• Providing financial insights and recommendations that support strategic business decisions and operational excellence.
• Partnering with business leaders to evaluate investments, growth opportunities, and operational improvement initiatives.
• Supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reviews with leadership teams.
• Delivering meaningful financial reporting, variance analysis, and performance dashboards.
• Collaborating across multiple functions to understand business drivers and assess financial impacts.
• Developing financial models and forecasting tools to improve planning accuracy and business visibility.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives that enhance financial processes, reporting efficiency, and decision‑making capabilities.
• Influencing stakeholders and providing financial guidance to support business objectives.
• Coaching and developing team members while promoting a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment while ensuring high‑quality deliverables and execution.
• Documenting, planning, coordinating, and executing strategic initiatives.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of operational and financial drivers.
• Experience collaborating across Finance, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Commercial organizations.
