Job summary

Meyer Sound in Berkeley, CA is seeking an FP&A Manager to lead global financial planning, forecasting, performance management and decision-support. Reporting to the CFO, you will translate business strategy into financial plans and resource allocation.

You will drive long-range plans, annual operating plans, quarterly forecasts, cash-flow forecasting, and executive reporting, champion AI and automation to improve forecast accuracy and reporting cycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of progressive FP&A, strategic finance, or financial modeling experience, with exposure to executive leadership/CFOs.
• Advanced skills in building driver-based three-statement and dimensional financial models from scratch; experience with AI-powered finance analytics tools.
• Experience analyzing multi-entity or international subsidiary financial performance and multi-currency operations.
• Involvement in ERP implementations or financial system enhancements (e.g., NetSuite, Workday, Adaptive Planning, Anaplan).
• Strong executive communication skills and ability to translate complex information into clear insights.
• Ability to collaborate with accounting teams while focusing on strategic finance and decision support.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual planning, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning across the company and subsidiaries.
• Drive scenario planning, risk assessment, and sensitivity analysis with complex financial modeling and cross-functional collaboration.
• Develop FP&A partnerships to evolve reporting and KPI frameworks and link investments to outcomes.
• Deliver monthly and quarterly management reporting with clear analysis of performance and drivers.
• Support profitability management, cost structure understanding, and product margin analysis.
• Budget, forecast, and track capital investments with variance reporting.
• Build and maintain dimensional financial models by region, product line, and channel.
• Lead planning process improvements and AI-enabled finance solutions to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Assist ERP implementation by structuring financial hierarchies and automated reporting workflows.
• Collaborate with global accounting to align data structures and budget-to-actual tracking across subsidiaries.
