Job summary

AbbVie Inc. is seeking an Associate Director to lead the Global FP&A COE within Commercial Controllership, guiding a four-member team and advancing standardization of processes, tools, and finance capabilities across global commercial finance.

The role focuses on planning, forecasting, SG&A, and reporting, while driving automation and AI initiatives using Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, and Wdesk to enable timely, informed business decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 12+ years of FP&A or financial controllership experience with team leadership.
• Strong financial planning, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Global FP&A COE within Commercial Controllership and manage a four-person team.
• Set priorities across the COE’s four pillars and define responsibilities across departments.
• Standardize practices, drive technology adoption, and develop planning templates and reports.
• Oversee SG&A, headcount, net sales, and related reporting across planning cycles.
• Drive automation and AI initiatives using Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, and related tools.
