Job summary

Mason Companies in Wisconsin is seeking a Footwear Sourcing Specialist to drive global sourcing strategies and supplier development for footwear products. You will coordinate development from concept through production, manage costs and terms, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet quality and delivery milestones.

The role requires strong negotiation, analytics, and project management skills, with experience in footwear manufacturing and Tech Packs preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a supply chain, retail, footwear design/product development, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in footwear product development, global sourcing, or related consumer products environment preferred.
• Experience with Tech Packs, materials, components, costing, and commercialization preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of global sourcing strategies aligned with product requirements, cost targets, quality standards, capacity needs, and business objectives.
• Evaluate prospective footwear factories and suppliers for capabilities, capacity, and quality systems.
• Coordinate footwear development from concept through commercialization, including material selection, costing, approvals, and production readiness.
• Negotiate and manage key commercial terms with factories and suppliers, including cost, lead times, and payment terms.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive improvements across cost, quality, and delivery.
