Job summary

Coach, a global fashion house founded in New York, seeks a Sr. Manager, Materials Development – Footwear to drive development from concept to production, delivering innovative leathers, fabrics, prints, and color.

You'll partner with Design, Merchandising, Production, and Technical teams to ensure timely delivery and cross‑functional alignment. This role requires 8+ years in footwear materials development, strong communication, and a proactive, organized approach in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelors preferred; degree in a related field is desirable.
• Proficiency with Excel, Windows, PowerPoint, PLM and ECVision is required.
• Currently working in related footwear materials development fields is expected.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day point person for Design, Merchandising, Production, and Technical Teams.
• Executes material development activities from Concept to Commercialization and drives cross-functional alignment.
• Organizes, maintains, and references material development information.
• Maintains material development charts shared across functions.
• Ensures ECVision database is complete and up to date.
• Follow up with overseas suppliers for status updates.
• Lead cross-functional Article Master reviews and ensure masters are sent to overseas partners.
• Prepare and analyze end-of-season recaps.
• Lead ad hoc projects and ensure timely turnaround.
