Free People is seeking a footwear category leader to drive our multi-branded vision through pre-production processes and production workflow. You will troubleshoot cost, material, and delivery issues and collaborate with product development, design, and merchandising.

You will train and support team members and direct reports, build strong vendor relationships, and steer sourcing strategy, calendar management, and line plans to ensure margins and on-time delivery.

Aufgaben

• SOURCING STRATEGY: Manage brand initiatives and goals; control operations calendar deadlines and monthly book to dates; control final allocations; develop and maintain vendor relationships; analyze trends to reduce cost and protect continuity of supply.
• PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT BLUEPRINT: Collaborate to create calendar and meet deadlines; outline brand strategy; improve adoption rates and hit line plan counts; manage commitments and order placements.
• PRODUCTION WORK IN PROCESS: Calculate and manage IMUs; strategize brand opportunities including freight modes; manage production process; guide team on final costing with vendors to ensure margins.
• TEAM DEVELOPMENT/MANAGEMENT: Assess and develop staff; coach to generate creative solutions; lead change; coordinate team to deliver samples meeting brand vision; manage pre-production and production work-in-process.
