Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an Accounting Manager, Financial Reporting in Las Vegas to lead global month-end consolidation, ensure US GAAP and IFRS compliance, and coordinate intercompany activities with the finance team. The role emphasizes process improvement, internal controls, and timely external reporting.

You will partner with the Global Controller, oversee audits, manage cross-border accounting, and drive continuous improvement across our B2B/B2C reporting, with a hybrid work model in Las Vegas

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification or equivalent combination of education and experience; previous audit experience preferred.
• CPA designation preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience coordinating with accounting teams to meet financial reporting deadlines.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple global time zones.
• Knowledge of or experience with SOX, J-SOX, and internal control frameworks preferred.
• High emotional intelligence and ability to build professional relationships.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Self-motivated, resourceful, and solution-oriented.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Own the global month-end consolidation process for GAN's B2B and B2C entities, including all related reporting.
• Review and approve consolidation-related journal entries, including statutory-to-U.S. GAAP adjustments, intercompany transactions, debt, and foreign exchange entries.
• Perform month-end analysis to identify and resolve errors, discrepancies, and unusual fluctuations.
• Coordinate intercompany accounting activities, including reconciliations, invoicing, and consolidation eliminations.
• Oversee general accounting close activities, including account reconciliations, flux analysis, complex journal entries, and foreign exchange reviews.
• Partner with FP&A by providing general ledger data, financial insights, and ad hoc support.
• Oversee outsourced accounting providers and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of their deliverables.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of month-end financial results.
• Prepare the consolidation reporting package for the ultimate parent company.
• Analyze and prepare required financial disclosures.
• Manage and coordinate internal and external audit requests from the ultimate parent company.
• Partner with the Global Controller and serve as a key point of contact for the ultimate parent company’s accounting team.
• Ensure all month-end close and reporting requirements are completed in accordance with Sega Sammy's timelines and standards.
