Northern Trust is seeking a Strategy and Reporting Lead to join its Global Financial Controls (GFC) group. The role focuses on SOX, SOC, and CCAR-related risk and control programs across the enterprise, balancing high-level strategy with hands-on execution.

The position emphasizes collaboration with senior management, enhancement of controls, and modernization efforts. The hybrid work model supports in-office and remote work to align with NT initiatives.

Responsibilities

• SOX scoping, deficiency aggregation analysis, and certification oversight.
• System Administrator/Point of Contact for the GFC Controls Management Tool with full implementation and maintenance.
• Assist the Head of GFC with audit reviews for SOX/SOC impacts.
• Co-represent GFC on internal initiatives as needed.
• Drive modernization and automation of department programs aligning with NT initiatives.
• Support GFC teams during peak seasons with control testing and external audits.
• Lead administrative tasks, updates to policies and standards, ensuring alignment with firmwide initiatives.
