The Northern Trust Company seeks a Strategy and Reporting Lead, a senior Internal Controls professional, to oversee SOX, SOC, and CCAR within Global Financial Controls (GFC). You will advise senior management, coordinate control testing, and drive program modernization and efficiency across NT's financial control programs.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in financial services, CPA or CIA, and strong communication skills to collaborate across business units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA a plus.
• CPA or CIA certification highly preferred.
• 10+ years of financial services experience in either a full-time or contractor capacity.
• Experience with SOX, Internal Controls, or Internal Audit required.

Responsabilités

• SOX scoping, deficiency aggregation analysis, and certification oversight.
• System Administrator/Point of Contact for the GFC Controls Management Tool with full implementation and maintenance.
• Assist Head of GFC with timely review of Audit reports for SOX/SOC impacts.
• Co-represent GFC on internal initiatives as needed.
• Drive modernization of department programs, including automation opportunities and alignment with NT initiatives.
• Provide peak-season support to ensure timely deliverables and objectives; include control testing reviews and external audit coordination.
• Lead administrative tasks across GFC, including training, policy updates, and maintaining standards.
• Balance high-level execution with strategic direction of business function activities.
• Act as Secretary for the Controls Committee with exposure to Executive Leadership.
