Job summary

PPG Industries is seeking a seasoned leader for the Manager, Global SOX Program & Controls Assurance role. You will supervise regional SOX teams and collaborate with IT and Controllership to certify ICFR and enable external auditor reliance.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in SOX and a strong ERP/ SAP background, with a track record in program governance and continuous improvement. Hybrid work model with global scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, information systems, or related field.
• CPA/CIA/CISA or equivalent is desirable for this role.
• 8+ years in SOX compliance, internal/external audit, risk, or ICFR.
• 3+ years leading large SOX or controls assurance programs.
• Familiarity with ERP environments such as SAP; automation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the global SOX testing program for ICFR certification.
• Set objectives, timelines, milestones, and reporting for the program.
• Lead SOX Managers across regions to ensure timely testing.
• Ensure methodology consistency and complete documentation.
• Coordinate with external auditors on reliance and testing coverage.
• Develop executive reporting on program status and risks.
• Drive continuous improvement and automation across testing.
