Job summary

Anthropic Limited is seeking a Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) professional to lead IT general controls (ITGC) for SOX 404 readiness. You will translate regulatory obligations into engineering controls, partner with Internal Audit and external auditors, and drive continuous assurance of controls across the technology stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Strong programming fluency and ability to read code and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with ITGC controls, SOX scope, and external auditors.
• Familiarity with development platforms, release engineering, and cloud infra.
• Ability to translate SOX/controls language into engineering acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities

• Define control requirements and acceptance criteria across ITGC domains for SOX in-scope systems.
• Set the bar for in-scope systems before go-live to ensure auditability and evidence.
• Assess changes for SOX impact and maintain a clear scope view.
• Lead second-line control monitoring and automated evidence collection for ITGCs.
• Remediate control deficiencies with cross-functional partners and re-test.
