Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Finance Transformation Analyst to join the Accounting Automation Services (AATS) team under the Accounting Transformation Group in Arlington, VA. This role drives automation initiatives across the WW Accounting organization to reduce manual work and increase financial controllership, collaborating with accounting, finance, FinTech, and tax teams.

You will own lifecycle activities from planning and requirements to UAT planning and project close, designing scalable processes,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field.
• 5+ years of finance, accounting, or related analytical field experience.
• MBA, PMP certificate, CPA or Master's in finance, accounting or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage lifecycle activities from planning & strategy, requirements gathering, technology partnerships, UAT planning and performance, project closing, and stakeholder engagement for multiple projects.
• Define requirements, prioritize and design, implement and launch scalable solutions with partner teams.
• Design processes and procedures that scale with growth in volume, complexity, and global dispersion.
• Communicate new/updated programs and processes to leaders, employees, and cross-functional organizations.
• Collaborate with system and business owners globally to ensure process excellence and high controllership.
• Negotiate efficient and reliable processes and policies across partner teams to reduce dependencies and defects.
• Work cross-organizationally to identify opportunities in process, technical, and human interfaces and implement plans to capitalize on them and measure impact.

Education

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
