Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Director, Finance Business Partner, A&CS to lead strategic financial planning and analysis within the A&CS Global Finance Team. The role focuses on driving P&L actions, forecasting accuracy, and cross-functional collaboration with regional finance, CFO, and executives worldwide.

The position requires strong analytical skills, MBA or equivalent experience, and a track record of delivering financial leadership in a complex matrix organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
• Demonstrated thought leadership and takes initiative to improve the existing structure and processes.
• Advanced analytical and financial skills, with the ability to develop financial models and analyze/identify issues and build business plans.
• Experienced in forecasting/budgeting and monitoring current results while identifying opportunities and risks to the full year financial and business goals.
• Strong interpersonal, relationship management and communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Excels in a self-directed work environment, often deadline driven.
• Proven ability to communicate with all levels of management.
• Advanced PC skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Hyperion, Enterprise Reporting, Order Management, PSA, Salesforce.com and Oracle Financials.]

Responsibilities

• Finance lead for strategic activities such as recommend actions and alternatives to manage P&L, articulate short and long term implications of business decisions, and provide alternatives to assist Group Executive in business decisions.
• Lead the Delivery annual planning process to ensure proper alignment between revenue targets, expense funding and business objectives.
• Lead the consolidation and review of the Delivery forecast for revenue and expense, providing a holistic and global assessment into risks and opportunities.
• Provide support in the on-going review of product margins, business margins, billable utilization and financial targets.
• Oversee, manage, and track product and opportunity forecasting process to ensure accuracy and timeliness of data contained within financial systems.
• Extensive cross functional and regional interaction with regional finance, CFO, region leads, Worldwide Finance and Services Finance.
• Responsible for the accuracy of the Hyperion forecast uploads; ensuring regional/market splits, P&L line items and monthly cadence.
• Develop and create standardized monthly KPIs and financial reporting of D&S Delivery performance to Group Executive and functional area leads.
• Understand and provide thoughtful business commentary to P&L performance vs. budget, forecast and prior year; linking opportunities and risks to the full year financial and business goals.
• Prepare Delivery monthly business review and scorecard for in depth review of monthly results, risks and opportunities, and strategic updates to the executives.
