Job summary

Stryker, a global medical technology leader, seeks a Senior Director, Assistant Corporate Controller to oversee integrity, accuracy, and completeness of consolidated financial reporting. You will report to the VP, Corporate Controller and lead critical accounting functions, internal controls, and strong cross‑functional partnerships.

Responsibilities include US GAAP/SEC reporting, multi‑period close, SOX compliance, and technical accounting oversight for complex topics.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in a large public company.
• Strong background in U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, and SOX compliance.
• Experience with a Big 4 accounting firm.

Responsibilities

• Lead corporate accounting for accurate consolidated financial statements under US GAAP and SEC.
• Oversee close processes (month/quarter/year) and critical estimates.
• Ensure SOX compliance and internal control documentation and remediation.
• Provide technical accounting leadership on complex topics (revenue, business combinations, impairments, leases).
