Job summary

Airbus Aerosystems Kinston is seeking a Finance Controlling Manager to lead financial planning, forecasting, and performance management for the Kinston site. You will partner with site leadership, HO Finance, and Europe to drive strategy, ensure accurate KPIs, and support decision making across P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.

The role requires 10+ years in finance/controlling, 3+ years of management, and strong cost accounting experience, with a focus on manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• 10+ years of finance/controlling experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• 3+ years of management experience.
• Experience managing stakeholders in a complex cross-functional and geographically dispersed matrix organization.
• Strong expertise in financial planning and analysis, cost accounting principles, and corporate governance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage annual operating plan and quarterly forecasts.
• Lead monthly and quarterly performance reviews with senior management and provide variance analyses.
• Oversee cost accounting, CAPEX control, and balance sheet management.
• Ensure internal controls adherence and support internal control assessments.
• Mentor and develop the controlling team and collaborate with HO Finance for regional alignment.
