Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group seeks a Financial Controller for the Global Solutions division to lead US, Canada, and LATAM finance. You will oversee accounting operations, prepare periodic financial statements, and drive forecasting and planning in a fast-moving environment.

Reporting to the President of Traka Americas, you will partner with cross-functional teams to enhance profitability and ensure compliance with US GAAP and group policies. A strong ERP and KPI focus is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 8+ years progressive finance experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
• Strong background in double-entry bookkeeping, IFRS, and financial KPI monitoring.
• Experience with QuickBooks and/or SAP.
• Thorough knowledge of US GAAP; some international standards.
• Excellent financial analysis and strategic planning skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting functions for US/Canada/LATAM operations.
• Prepare monthly financial and management reports.
• Develop financial strategies aligned with company goals.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for regional operations.
• Provide financial insights to support decision-making.
• Utilize ERP systems for reporting and data analysis.
• Lead and develop the finance team.
