Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Door Group seeks an experienced accounting leader to coordinate the Accounting Department’s daily activities, ensuring timely reporting of financial results and partnering with leadership to optimize performance. The role includes budgeting, forecasting, monthly close, internal controls, and compliance across ERP systems (JD Edwards, Hyperion) with emphasis on Excel and data analysis.

Excellent communication and integrity are required; MBA/CMA/CPA preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Experience with data analysis software; Business Objects experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of IFRS and financial statement presentation.
• Experience with multiple ERP systems; JD Edwards and Hyperion are assets.
• Strong team player who can interact with and motivate others.
• Ability to set and meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a matrix organization.
• MBA or CMA/CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities of the Accounting Department.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Oversee monthly close and close results.
• Report to VP of Finance, Door Group.
• Partner with leadership to drive financial results and performance.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and operating metrics.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to improve close cycles.
• Expand BI usage to drive performance.
• Ensure compliance with policies and Code of Conduct.
