Job summary

AMETEK, EDAX division, seeks a Director, Business Controller to lead finance and accounting across multiple locations in the United States and globally. You will own close processes, reporting, forecasting, and working capital management while partnering with R&D, manufacturing, operations, and commercial leaders to enable profitable growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
• Approximately 10+ years of progressive accounting and/or finance experience with increasing leadership responsibility.
• Experience leading direct reports across finance and accounting functions, including talent development.
• Global and multi-site experience across diverse locations and cultures.

Responsibilities

• Lead the finance and accounting function for a global, multi-site business.
• Provide direction, coaching, performance management, and development for finance and accounting team members across multiple locations.
• Build organizational capability and support succession readiness within the finance team.
