Job summary

AMETEK Inc. (EDAX/MAD) is seeking a Director, Business Controller to lead finance across multiple sites and regions. The role ensures accurate financial reporting, strong controls, and disciplined decision support for growth.

You will partner with R&D, manufacturing, operations, and sales to optimize resource allocation and profitability. You will drive the monthly closes, budgeting, and forecasting, while developing the finance team and strengthening internal controls.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
Approximately 10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience with leadership.
Global/multi-site experience and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

Lead finance and accounting function for a global, multi-site business.
Provide direction, coaching, and development for finance staff across locations.
Own month-end, close processes and management reporting.
Drive forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning.
Improve working capital, profitability, and product profitability.
Ensure ERP and financial systems support operations and future needs.
