AMETEK, Inc. is seeking a Business Segment Controller to act as a strategic finance partner to the Business Manager. You will lead all financial operations for the segment, including planning, forecasting, cost accounting, and reporting, ensuring strong controls and alignment with long-term objectives.

You will collaborate with sales and operations, deliver timely analyses, and supervise a finance team while driving continuous improvement and strategic initiatives across the business segment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Minimum 6 years of progressive financial experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in GAAP, SOX, ASC 606 and financial reporting in manufacturing/industrial context.

Responsabilités

• Partner with Business Manager to drive unit performance and achieve targets.
• Oversee all finance and accounting activities and ensure operational excellence.
• Deliver timely financial statements and analyses with insights into budgets and forecasts.
• Develop tools/systems to provide critical financial information to the executive team.
• Lead working capital management and participate in inventories and capex reviews.
• Supervise and develop finance professionals and foster continuous improvement.
