Job summary
Meso Scale Diagnostics LLC seeks a Field Service Engineer to support installation, maintenance, and servicing of automated assay systems for a global client base. You will lead site surveys, commissioning, and ensure systems are fully operational within customer workflows.
You will provide on-site and remote troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and contribute to training materials and field documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent military/work experience.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in field service engineering or related technical roles.
- Hands-on experience with automated laboratory systems, liquid handling or robotics.
- Proficiency with basic hand tools, inspection equipment, and diagnostic tools.
Responsibilities
- Lead client support and installations, including site surveys and commissioning worldwide.
- Provide on-site and remote troubleshooting, service and preventive maintenance.
- Contribute to training materials and customer-facing documentation.
- Maintain detailed service records and drive continuous improvement of field processes.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to feedback improvements.
- Develop service procedures and checklists for field activities.
