Job summary

Manpower is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide capital equipment maintenance, repair and qualification services in the US and internationally. Responsibilities include diagnosing equipment problems, calibrating and testing systems, and delivering on-site maintenance and training.

The role requires travel, strong electromechanical skills, reading blueprints/electrical schematics, and familiarity with PLCs and RS Logix. Excellent problem solving and customer communication are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Engineering or 4 years of equivalent work experience preferred.
Electromechanical proficiency.
Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
Familiarity working with Programmable Logic Controllers.
Some knowledge of RS Logix.
Experience working with Digital Multimeters, temperature probes, pressure gauges.
Familiarity working with high voltage devices.
Experience with troubleshooting.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally (overnight stays).

Responsibilities

Plan assigned customer service needs.
Meet customer personnel to determine equipment problems and perform diagnostic tests.
Troubleshoot and diagnose problems and take corrective action.
Calibrate equipment according to customer schedule and apply test procedures.
Provide on-site operation, maintenance and preventive maintenance.
Run lab and factory acceptance tests for customers.
Conduct on-site seminars for equipment operation and process optimization.
Prepare service and expense records and perform other related duties.
