Job summary

Doble Engineering Company is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide maintenance and technical support for Doble equipment at customer sites, domestically and internationally. The role is based at the Accident, MD office and reports to the Service Manager.

The position requires an Associate degree in electrical technology, 0–1 years of experience, and proficiency with electrical test equipment. Expect travel and direct customer interaction with performance documented in service logs.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in electrical technology or equivalent training.
• 0-1 years of experience in field service or related role.
• Proficient in using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators.
• Good communication with customers and documentation of service activities.

Responsibilities

• On-site analysis and repair of high voltage, high current test equipment.
• On-site calibration and preventative maintenance service.
• Prepare and deliver quotations for customer service and stock parts.
• Provide telephone support and document communications for follow-up actions.
• Interact directly with customers to assess configurations and maintenance needs.
• Replace faulty stock components with supervisor approval.
• Make system modifications after acceptance with engineering support.
