Doble Engineering is seeking a Field Service Technician II to provide maintenance and technical support for Doble equipment at customer locations. Located in Accident, MD, this position involves on-site analysis and repair of high voltage test equipment, calibration, and the training of customers.
Required qualifications include an Associates Degree in electrical technology and 1 – 3 years of related experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in using various electrical test tools like oscilloscopes and multi-meters as well as solid communication skills.
Field Service Technician II at Doble Engineering will provide maintenance and technical support for Doble equipment at customer locations, including domestic and international locations. This role identifies and troubleshoots malfunctions and will conduct scheduled repairs. This role will be required to develop detailed service reports to document service visits and troubleshooting actions and logs to track maintenance activity. This role will be based at our Accident, MD office and will report to the Service Manager.
While performing the duties of this job the employee is often required to stand, sit, use computers, read, write, type, use copy machines, file paperwork, use telephones, and utilize written and oral communication to interact with clients, co-workers, and customers. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform the essential functions of this job. Must be capable of lifting 30 pounds. Must use assistance when lifting 50 or more pounds.
Hourly Pay Range: Minimum $23.40 - Midpoint $29.25
