Job summary

Tetra Pak is seeking a Service Engineer to lead field service for customers in the United States. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot complex issues, train operators, and support contract performance to keep food processing equipment operating at peak efficiency.

You will travel to customer sites, analyze issues, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards while representing the company professionally.

Qualifications

• Up to three years of experience in maintenance, service, or installation positions.
• Educational background in industrial systems, automation, or process engineering.
• Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 90% of the time.
• Intermediate proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
• A proactive attitude with a strong commitment to customer service.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and installations
• Analyze technical issues and elevate when needed using standard operating processes
• Train customer operators and support production efficiency
• Monitor service contracts and contribute to business development
• Ensure compliance with safety, food quality, and reporting standards
• Represent Tetra Pak professionally and contribute ideas for improving customer operations and service delivery
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment
• Follow all safety protocols in accordance to OHS and Tetra Pak safety regulations and promote a safe working culture in the team
