Job summary

Excelion Partners LLC. is seeking a Field Service Electro-Mechanical Technician in Appleton, WI to support in-house assembly and field servicing of air pollution control systems.

You will wire control panels, install conduit, perform maintenance, and service industrial equipment across automotive, aerospace, and chemical sectors. The role combines shop fabrication with hands-on field work, requiring PLC/HMI/VFD setup, equipment commissioning, and strong safety practices.

Qualifications

Industrial electro-mechanical experience required.
Familiarity with PLC programming tools and HMI software.
Understanding of NFPA/NEC codes is desirable.
Strong trade skills with electrical conduit routing.

Responsibilities

Assemble, wire control panels per UL 508A and NEC.
Install conduit, piping, and instrumentation tubing for air/gas systems.
Perform predictive and preventive maintenance on fans and motors.
Commission and service RTOs, dryers, and combustion equipment.
Program, load, and configure automation devices including PLC/HMI/VFD.
Manage on-site installations and supervise subcontractors.
Draft customer engineering reports and BOMs; provide 24/7 hotline support.
